With heavy hearts and minds, We bid farewell to Diamond Franchessca Pearson- Vittie our beloved beacon of light, who departed from this world leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness walking through life with a gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with an unforgettable grace. Diamond found beauty in life’s simple moments and encouraged us all to do the same. Diamond Franchessca Pearson- Vittie was born in Birmingham, AL March 7th 1987 passed away in Montgomery, AL October 18th 2024.
Diamond was very inquisitive with a voracious thirst for knowledge, was always reading books, and furthering her intellect. Diamond graduated with honors from George Washington Carver high school in Birmingham, AL May 2005, she also graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville,AL December 2011, and obtained her Master’s degree in Transportation Planning from Auburn University 2014.
She met and fell in love with Kevin Vittie, her husband best friend and love of her life, beginning of 2011 in which her life began to come together. Soon after graduating from Auburn University she found success as a Civil Engineer Graduate at Alabama Department of Transportation which she became more self assured and clawed her way to a career of her dreams.
Even though Diamond is not with us physically anymore she will always be with us in spirit and is healed in heaven with God. She will live in the hearts of many.
Diamond is survived by her husband Kevin Vittie; Brother Tyler Pearson; Mother Susan Pearson and a host of Aunts, Great Aunts and Uncles, and cousins.
