Sandra Moore McAllister, age 78, passed away in her home at Lake Martin, Alabama, surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 24, 2019. She was born February 28, 1941 in Americus, Georgia to Elmer and Ruth Caldwell Moore. She married Paul McAllister of Buena Vista, Georgia on October 18, 1964. Together, they had four children: Valerie, Steven, Randy and Michael. She chose to stay home and be a full time wife and mother, devoting her life to her family which she loved fiercely. Sandra loved visiting with friends and family on her back porch among the beautiful flowers planted by her husband. Preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Ruth, her sister Ann and her daughter Valerie. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul, of 54 years; sons, Steven (Tammy) of Primm Springs, TN; Randy (Lora) of Castroville, TX; Michael of Dadeville,AL; six grandchildren, Joe Allen (Krisit), Jordan Conway, Matthew McAllister, Josh McAllister, Abigail McAllister and Luke McAllister and two great grandchildren, Maddie Jo and Waylon, along with many nieces and nephews that she loved and adored. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 1:00pm at the chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home, 1052 Dr. Deryl Hart Rd, Buena Vista, Georgia. The family will greet friends from 4:00-7:00pm on Friday, June 28, at the McAllister home on Lake Martin, Alabama.
